Trump Admits That Russia Helped Him Get Elected in Twitter Rant

This might be the first time Donald Trump has ever acknowledged that Russia did actually help him win the 2016 election.

During a press conference in Helsinki last year, after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin , Trump reiterated that he felt Russia had nothing to do with the elections despite his own intel community saying otherwise.

Reporter (Jonathan Lemire from AP): … Just now President Putin denied having anything to do with the election interference in 2016. Every US intelligence agency has concluded that Russia did. My first question for you, sir, is who do you believe? My second question is would you now with the whole world watching tell President Putin — would you denounce what happened in 2016 and would you warn him to never do it again?

TRUMP: … My people came to me, Dan Coats came to me and some others and said they think it’s Russia. I have President Putin. He just said it’s not Russia. I will say this. I don’t see any reason why it would be.

That brilliant tweet translates to “Sir, you left your long red tie in the embassy again. Call Vladimir for details.”

That didn’t last long.

I’m sure it was probably an accidental Freudian slip. But the reality is, we all know it happened. The Mueller Report says it happened. Paul Manafort is in jail partly for facilitating it. Trump is even on video asking Russia to help him on multiple occasions; and as stated in the Mueller report, they delivered on the promise with the help WikiLeaks immediately after his request.

There is so much illustrated in the Mueller Report about Russia interfering with the elections in favor of Trump that I cannot possible list it all here. But don’t take my word for it read the report for yourself.

I often feel like I’m preaching to the choir with this stuff but I’m hoping it also hits eyes of people who simply don’t know the truth yet.
